Health guarantees

Health Guarantees

Three-Year Replacement Guarantee
Purchases of $800 or more qualify for a 3-year replacement health guarantee for genetic conditions. Puppies priced under $800 come with a 1-year guarantee. A nominal $100 replacement fee applies for replacement. The new puppy must be of similar value to qualify.
15-Day Viral Disease Guarantee (Parvo and Distemper)
If your puppy contracts a serious viral infection like parvovirus or distemper, you may return the puppy for credit.
7-Day Exchange Policy
If a life-threatening condition is diagnosed within 7 days, you may exchange the puppy for one of equal or lesser value.

Limitations

This health guarantee does not cover cosmetic or non-life-threatening conditions. Routine care, including vaccinations, deworming, spaying/neutering, and preventive treatments for fleas and heartworm, is the owner’s responsibility. Minor health concerns not explicitly covered can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This guarantee is not a substitute for health insurance; we recommend researching veterinary care options for ongoing health support.

Your Responsibilities

Veterinary Exam: Have your puppy examined by a vet within 7 days of bringing them home.
Fecal Exams: Complete exams for worms, coccidia, and giardia.
Notification: Notify us promptly of any positive test results.
Microchip Registration: Register the puppy’s microchip (details are in the vaccine records).
Spay/Neuter: Complete spaying or neutering by six months or as advised by your vet.
Behavioral Training: Address behavioral issues with professional help and consider obedience training if needed.

Deposits

Non-Refundable Deposits: Deposits (up to $400) are non-refundable but may be credited toward another puppy if necessary.
Deposit Refunds: Refunds are issued if the puppy becomes ill before release.
Switching Puppies: Changing your choice of puppy after three days will incur a $200 fee.

Sold as Pets Agreement

Puppies sold as “Pet Only” are intended solely as family pets, with no breeding rights or registration papers (e.g., AKC).

No Breeding Rights: The buyer agrees not to breed the puppy, and spaying/neutering is required as recommended by a vet.
No Registration Papers: These puppies do not come with pedigree papers or breed registration.
Breed Variability: While the puppy may be purebred or primarily one breed, slight variations or traces of other breeds may exist.
Health Guarantees: All health guarantees for hereditary conditions remain effective for “Pet Only” puppies.

This policy prioritizes placing puppies in loving homes as companions, not for breeding or show purposes.

Important Notice

For puppies under four months old that are not fully vaccinated, please avoid public spaces like pet stores, parks, and groomers. Keep your puppy in a carrier at vet visits, and prevent others from putting their fingers in the puppy’s mouth. By accepting a puppy from us, you agree to all terms and conditions outlined here.

Saturday Delivery Rates (up to 150 miles from Donna, TX):

Single Customer: $1.00 per mile.
Two Customers: $0.85 per mile.
Three or More Customers: $0.75 per mile

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSIT INFORMATION:

PayPal and credit card payments include a 12.25% sales tax and merchant fees. All other payment methods will incur an 8.25% sales tax.

"Sold as Pet" information

When a puppy is "sold as pet" with no registration, it means the puppy is being sold without any official pedigree papers or registration with a kennel club like the AKC (American Kennel Club). This typically means:

1. **No Breeding Rights:** The puppy is intended solely as a companion animal and not for breeding purposes.

2. **Spay/Neuter Agreement:** The buyer may still be required to spay or neuter the puppy, ensuring it is not used for breeding.

3. **Lower Price:** Puppies sold without registration are often priced lower than those with full registration, as they are intended only as pets and not for showing or breeding.
