ABCpuppy Health Guarantee

1. One-Year Congenital Disorder Guarantee: Each puppy is sold with a one (1) year limited guarantee covering congenital disorders, permitting replacement or exchange.
2. Replacement Fee: A non-refundable fee of one hundred dollars ($100) shall be assessed for the issuance of a replacement puppy, which must be of equal or lesser monetary value.
3. Diagnosis: The covered congenital condition must be diagnosed by a duly licensed veterinarian within one (1) year from the date of purchase.
4. 14-Day Viral Health Guarantee: In the event a life-threatening viral illness (e.g., parvovirus or distemper) is diagnosed within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of possession, the purchaser shall be entitled to the following remedies:
5. Exchange the puppy for another of equal or lesser value.
6. If geographic or logistical constraints prevent return of the puppy, the purchaser may request reimbursement up to the original purchase price.
7. Hospitalization Reimbursement: Reimbursement for hospitalization expenses shall not exceed the original purchase price and shall be contingent upon submission of itemized veterinary invoices.
8. Disclaimer: This document shall not be construed as a pet health insurance policy and does not extend coverage beyond the expressly stated terms.
9. The purchaser assumes full financial responsibility for any and all veterinary expenses not explicitly covered herein.
10. Once the cumulative amount reimbursed equals the original purchase price, no further compensation shall be rendered, and the congenital guarantee shall be rendered null and void.
11. Limitations: This guarantee excludes non-life-threatening and/or cosmetic conditions.
12. The purchaser shall be solely responsible for costs associated with routine veterinary care, including but not limited to vaccinations, deworming, sterilization, and parasite prevention.
13. Health concerns not explicitly listed may, at the seller’s sole discretion, be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
14. This health guarantee is not intended to serve as a substitute for pet insurance. Purchasers are encouraged to explore third-party insurance options.
15. No warranty, express or implied, is made regarding breeding capability or fitness for breeding purposes.
16. Buyer Responsibilities: To maintain this guarantee, the purchaser must:
17. Have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within seven (7) calendar days of acquisition to validate all applicable guarantees.
18. Conduct fecal testing for parasites such as worms, coccidia, and giardia, per veterinarian recommendation.
19. Notify ABCpuppy immediately upon discovery of any diagnosed medical condition.
20. Register the microchip provided with the puppy in accordance with the vaccination record instructions.
21. Complete spaying or neutering of the puppy by six (6) months of age or as directed by the veterinarian.
22. Pursue professional training if behavioral issues arise.
23. Deposits & Refund Policy: All deposits, not to exceed four hundred dollars ($400), are deemed non-refundable but may be transferred to another available puppy.
24. Changes to the selected puppy made after three (3) calendar days will incur a two hundred dollar ($200) change fee unless the original puppy becomes medically unfit prior to transfer.
25. Sold as Pets Agreement: All puppies are sold strictly for companionship purposes.
26. Breeding is expressly prohibited.
27. The purchaser agrees to spay or neuter the puppy in accordance with the sterilization requirement.
28. The intent of this agreement is to place puppies in loving, non-breeding homes.
29. The purchaser acknowledges minor deviations in breed characteristics may occur, even in purebred puppies.
30. Health guarantees apply exclusively to puppies sold under the “Pet Only” classification.
31. Important Notice: Puppies under four (4) months of age who have not completed their vaccination schedule shall not be taken to public areas including but not limited to pet stores, dog parks, or grooming facilities.
32. During veterinary visits, the puppy must remain in a carrier, and the purchaser shall restrict handling by third parties.
33. By accepting possession of the puppy, the purchaser acknowledges and agrees to abide by all terms and conditions stated herein.
